Children and Youth
Nurturing our Children and Youth is really important to us at FBC and we have lots of weekly activities to cater for them:
Monday's 10am to 11.30am during school term time - Totsworld. Parents/ carers and their pre-school toddlers enjoy a shared inclusive time together, with a weekly craft, song, play time and light refreshments. Free of charge, although donations welcome if able to. Held in the church hall.
Friday's 7pm to 9pm - Youth Group. Secondary school children, 11-16 year olds, enjoy a shared, inclusive time together, with activities, a bible talk and light refreshments. Free of charge. Held in the church hall.
Sunday's 11am - Sunday Club. 4 to 14 year olds enjoy a time together in our bible based Sunday school, with a mix of Christian songs, stories, crafts and activities. Held in the church hall. Free of charge. The children come out of the main church service after the worship time.
Other activities from time to time:
Seasonal Holiday Clubs - Easter, Summer and Christmas. 5-11 year olds enjoy a number of consecutive days of themed Christian-based holiday clubs with crafts, songs, activities and bible talks.
Annual Light Party - instead of celebrating Halloween, 5-11 year olds come and celebrate light, enjoying a Christian-based event with crafts, songs, activities and bible talk.
